        Well... not anymore, yes. But at the start of the Science (I mean Astronomy) the two things were basically indistinguishable and some reputed Astronomers (e.g. Mason & Dixon) still dabbled in Astrology on the side.

    Purely subjective, but New Age-y stuff had a bit of a renaissance in the 90s, then fell off around 2000 - 2016ish, and now in recent years astrology in particular is back in a big way. What's new is that a lot of the recent interest in astrology among millennials / gen z is semi-ironic, but really only semi.

    I wouldn't say its new, but in my entirely anecdotal experience I'm hearing more and more young people talk about astrology than when I was young a few decades ago. Its not new, but I'd believe we're in some kind of resurgence.

    No, but if you were, say, in your 20s I could see how you might _believe_ it was; it had a bit of a dry spell. Astrology's been a perennial fad for, well, millennia, but in a modern context it shows up every couple of decades.

  Interesting. I can’t think of anyone I know who is interested in astrology. That said, I recently stopped attending a church, so maybe most of my associates were self-selecting to a different belief structure.

Depends where you live and what kind of people you're around, but anecdotally, yes they are, it's really weird.
