On the contrary I think reading a 100 year old translation of a 2,800 year old story is enlightening on a different level
- number6 3y agoBut if you need a translation for the translation...
- GloomyBoots 3y agoYou don’t need a translation for hundred-year-old poetry. You might need a dictionary, mainly for archaisms (and I mean words that were already archaisms at the time). That said, I don’t like this translation.
