  Do you have a preferred vendor? I've been thinking of doing the same for my next machine, for similar reasons, but I also see a lot of horror stories about messed up builds, poor shipping, etc.

    That was my experience with OriginPC, i.e., a seriously messed up build, unhelpful (but friendly) customer service, and terrible warranty. I am on a market for a new high performance PC right now, but I can't find any vendors with onsite warranty outside of Lenovo and Dell, which don't really sell anything that would meet my requirements.

    For Germany I have used Agando in the past. People have recommended mifcom too.
