Whats the consensus over on Mastadon at the moment? Will the major Mastodon instances block federation with Threads purely out of spite I wonder.

- Freeboots 3y agoWon't block Threads? Oh god.
- add-sub-mul-div 3y agoThere's a good dynamic if the eternal September people stay on Twitter/Threads, letting the smaller networks remain smaller and worthwhile.
- cmrdporcupine 3y agoDoubtful if federation will happen in the short term, seems like a few months away. If they even bother.

- dahwolf 3y agoWho cares? As I write this, Threads has 30 million users, 3 times the entirety of the Fediverse. But yes, surely they will block :)
