- thebooktocome 3y agoMaybe I’m wrong, but it sounds a lot like you’re asking why they didn’t implement a court decision before the decision was made. The Ivies thought what they were doing was legal. It no longer is.
- nonethewiser 3y agoNo I think he means why didnt they discriminate by race via personal essays on the first place. Presumably its less effective.
