I'm interested to hear why you believe a third-party app developer and multiple groups of moderators have all decided to somehow coordinate a scam against Reddit, and also why you believe Reddit is in the right here? Why is that easier to believe/agree with than the majority opinion expressed on HN?
- riku_iki 3y ago3p app dev and mods spread narrative which doesn't stand trivial fact checking, and majority believes in what they want to believe without digging into details. > you believe Reddit is in the right here I didn't say anything like that. Reddit is private for profit company, owns platform and content and acts to maximize long term profit.
- ralfd 3y agoCurrently they are acting in maximizing alienation of their users and maximizing the chance a viable competitor platform emerges.
- riku_iki 3y agothey lost PR battle, everything else you said is up to discussion.

- sScTE9qEMCxEk34 3y ago> spread narrative which doesn't stand trivial fact checking, and majority That's reddit, not any devs or mods.
- riku_iki 3y agomods decide what appear on subreddits, most anti-reddit narrative was spread as sticky posts on popular subreddits.
