They could even be portable and/or just blow fresh air directly on the person instead of cooling an entire room.
Heat pumps consumes a lot of energy and have too much cooling power. I would live a fine life with an air around 23 or 25 celsius.
- solardev 3y ago25 C? Lol, that's way hotter than I turn the HEAT up to in the dead of the winter cold. Isn't that tremendously uncomfortable..? Anything above 19 C or so and I start to melt. I'm impressed by your ability to shed heat!
- mytailorisrich 3y agoIt's sensible to use AC to only bring temperature down to warm instead of freezing cold like they tend to do in the US, especially since you're probably already lightly dressed. Setting it to 23-25 does sound like a good compromise, also implying that AC stays off until temp reaches above 25C (also sensible, IMHO). Actually here in the UK we're having a bit of a heat wave and it's currently 27C inside my house downstairs and hotter upstairs.
