Las Vegas family claims to see aliens after several report thing fell from sky
- LinuxBender 3y agoMost people these days have a video camera in their pocket. There is no need to describe to cops what they saw, they could have uploaded videos and pictures to dispatch so they knew what they were looking for.
- thx-2718 3y agoSooner or later we'll catch them on a doorbell camera right? Or maybe they'll just sophisticated enough to be able to auto remove themselves from digital recordings similar to how we have AI to remove people in the background of family photos.
- LinuxBender 3y agoEven without ring, Las Vegas is covered in cameras only to be outdone by London or Beijing. I am leaning towards a green flare/firework and a hoax call. I know the idea is exciting to many but I am not looking forward to the day it isn't a hoax because the first thing our government will do is mandatory lock-downs until they know what pathogens the visitors brought with them and the visitors may not be thrilled to have their bodily fluids tested. I'm not worried about the visitors. If they were intelligent enough to make it here and did not attack unprovoked then they are probably otherwise mostly harmless.
- thx-2718 3y agoYou're assuming it's not going to be a 'They Live' sort of situation though.
- ilaksh 3y agoThe military has a main base for testing secret experimental aircraft in the relative vicinity of Las Vegas and uses "aliens" as cover for that. It seems possible this news report (or media submitted to the news) was directly part of that military information program because otherwise they would have shown the backyard rather than blacking it out. By hiding the yard they hide the fact that obviously no alien craft landed there and allow people to use their imagination.
