How does this counter the posts of Russian soldiers claiming to have mined the dam back in December [1] as well as the US Government claiming to have intelligence that says otherwise[2]? It would be mighty stupid of Ukraine to destroy their agricultural output when they appear to be making combat gains... honestly just sound like weapons grade garbage.

- emptysongglass 3y agoPoster is saying it sounds like you're putting a lot of effort into crafting another narrative than the obvious. I'm also inclined to agree: I've been following the invasion for a long time and given the flagrant war crimes, (blowing up large public works like this counts as one) Russia has committed, the mining already mentioned, and the recent shaping attacks from Ukraine, there's plenty of evidence this was a deliberate action.
- cwillu 3y agoBackground information in how dams fail does not constitute “crafting a narrative”, and is entirely compatible with Russia casually committing atrocities and war crimes.
