- beezlewax 3y agoI doubt he is in a position to care profundly about losing his job. He's a highly successful person. Presumably has made decent bank over the years.
- CBarkleyU 3y agoYes, the 94 years old Noam Chomsky is scared shitless that AI will leave him jobless. This is definitely a sane take on this issue.

- mcv 3y agoHe's not a writer, he's a professor in linguistics. He almost singlehandedly pushed the field towards a more technical analysis and formalisation of grammar suitable for automatic language parsing and translation. If he isn't retired already, it's only out of personal choice, and not because he's desperate for a job.
