MegaWang 2000 Turbo Edition hardware
This project demonstrates a new build of retro style audio and graphics hardware, like that seen in 1980s arcade games. It includes software emulation, an SDK, and hardware schematics.

- chaosprint 3y agoCool stuff! I own a Daisy Seed board and have lots of fun writing Rust audio code on that: https://github.com/chaosprint/daisy-rust-playground https://github.com/chaosprint/daisy-rust-playground

- bitwize 3y agoI'm reminded of the F18A, a replacement for the TMS9918A in the TI-99/4A computer that offers lots of enhanced graphical modes including 80-column mode, and enough sprites, colors within a sprite, and graphical layers to enable games for this 16-bit system to look 16-bit! The F18A also works with other systems that used the TMS9918A, like the ColecoVision.
