Cost per GB of hard disk has not dropped much in the past few years, the money has to come from somewhere.
- brigandish 3y agoThey make more than 50 cents per year of off people’s info, even from inactive accounts I’d reckon.
- chii 3y ago> 50 cents per year of off people’s info info which they already got, since the account is inactive, it is no longer contributing any new info. So why would they be paying for nothing?
- brigandish 3y agoI didn't say they should, I simply pointed out that the "money [which] has to come from somewhere" is coming from somewhere, they place we all thought it came from - our data.
