I really hope they invested in storyline/novel gameplay. BOTW set a really high bar; hope this one can match it.

- qwertywert_ 3y agoBOTW did not set a high bar for storyline imo. Gameplay yea.
- spaceman_2020 3y agoFrom the reviews, the gameplay seems like its even more fun. Particularly looking forward to the weapons and vehicles system.
- pbhjpbhj 3y agoUh-oh, vehicles? The worst part of BotW is the bike, it's jarringly out of line with the whole feel of Zelda, for me. They may as well have put a gun in it.
- nly 3y ago...ok, I've owned BOTW for 2 years and I've never come across a bike.
- brenns10 3y agoI do get that it felt a bit out of place initially, but BOTW has 4 massive mechanical laser-shooting beasts, along with a whole fleet of spider-crawling laser robots and helicopter laser robots... The motorcycle doesn't feel so out of place in that context. But I'll admit, I haven't played many previous Zelda games. Also, the bike is only unlocked after all the divine beasts, when the game is already "over" and you're just trying to complete all the shrines and quests. I'm so happy to have it in order to help me get around faster for those things. But yeah, I can't deny it felt weird at first :)
- spaceman_2020 3y agoTo be fair, the bike in BotW so late that it has no real meaningful impact on the game. It's just a fun little reward for practically beating the game so you can now run around and do stupid stuff. The "vehicles" in this are more like platforms and scraps that you string together to create something that moves by itself.
