Did you stop using it because you read about that, or some actual incident?
- hewlett 3y agoAn Afgan electrical engineer was sent to Guantanamo Bay for wearing it as Al-Qaeda was known to use the F91W in IEDs
- porkbeer 3y agoIm sure that was the only factor involved.
- filoleg 3y agoYeah, I am with you on this one. I even tried googling for it, but couldn't find any articles referencing both Guantanamo and casio watches, aside from the general ones talking about the whole phenomenon of Al-Quaeda preferring those watches or pieces talking about incidents where the watch was actually used as an IED component.

- slicktux 3y agoI was being made fun of in a tongue in cheek way… If it does not apply I let it fly but it was just a little too much.
- CydeWeys 3y agoBy any chance are you Arab? If so, then I can see why that might sting (and why the others were, unfortunately, taking the tack). If you're not though, then meh, easy to dismiss.
