That’s the MacBook Pro. It pretty much never throttles. You have to really push it to get the fans to do much though.

- tomduncalf 3y agoThe only time I’ve heard the fans on my M1 Max is running ML stuff (Demucs) across every core for several minutes, so the CPU was completely maxed out. Even then it was quiet. Day to day for me it hardly ever gets warm and I never hear the fans.
