  He did it over like, 10 years. It's not nearly as much as it sounds. I think an average purchasing manager racks comparable money over their career.

    > It's not nearly as much as it sounds. "Just" $1.7M/year? In e.g. Russia, I could expect something like that to be standard for larger companies. In the west, it would be an extreme exception. I think you may have to consider that your personal perspective might be warped. This attitude/expectation is not a great look for your service offering, btw.
