Also it's of course not a new browser. It's just the next Chrome GUI.
- RheingoldRiver 3y agoThe "Peek" feature they showed in a tweet seems cool, is there an extension for that in Firefox? Where you can get a tab-within-a-tab to view an article or etc without opening a tab yet. I would definitely install an extension to be able to right-click "Preview Link" or "Preview Tab" or etc. I did a quick search for "Preview Link" and "Peek" and nothing really showed up. There was one "simple link preview" but I tried installing it and it just seems super buggy so I uninstalled.
- udfalkso 3y agoThe part I like lost about the peek feature is when it happens elsewhere in the OS. I click a link in outlook or iMessage and I pops up right there in context without jumping all the way to my browser. ESP nice for unsubscribe links in emails.
- RheingoldRiver 3y agodo you mean that this Arc browser enables that?
- udfalkso 3y agoYea
- RheingoldRiver 3y agoOh I'll admit that does seem like a selling point to have it installed at least. Does it have to be default browser or what's the UX like?
