- api 3y agoSo instead of AI vs humans we will have left wing and right wing cyborg superintelligences comprised of both AI and human minds battling over culture war bullshit. I keep asking how much more insane we can get. There does not seem to be a ceiling.
- dragonwriter 3y ago> So instead of AI vs humans we will have left wing and right wing cyborg superintelligences Except, not, because despite Elon’s PR, what he is reacting too is in no way “left-wing” (or “woke”), in fact, it is very widely criticized, with evidence, for reinforcing the exact biases that “woke” was originally used in reference to awareness of and opposition to. So, maybe “right-wing” and “righter-wing”.

- Zigurd 3y agoThe English language training corpus for AI is heaving canted toward white male Christian writers, published by the same. An AI that can transcend bias in training material is one Elon will like even less.
