- barrysteve 4y agoMeanwhile motorcycles are stolen in broad daylight and the post code is drenched in marijuana smoke in East London. Power over the people, including letting them sink into poverty and crime.

- helaoban 4y agoMore of a reflection on the state of the West in general. Where the flame is lit doesn't really matter.
- eynsham 4y agoIt’s not apparent to me that the use of Schedule 7 powers says particularly much about ‘the state of the West in general’. ‘Where the flame is lit’ does matter as to whether the resultant fire burns in Britain; the flames of 1848 did not.
- sph 4y agoUntil the masses have Netflix, Pornhub and TikTok, nothing will ever happen. It's easier to hide under the covers and doomscrool than go out and throw a brick.
