SAT scores above a certain threshold can become a negative signal, if they aren't paralleled by equally exceptional performance elsewhere. It suggests a certain misallocation of effort. "Why did this person spend all his time on the tests?"
- keyu 15y agoIt is really ridiculous that in the US you think it is a fault if someone works pretty hard in study.
- Dylan16807 15y agoI did pretty well on the SAT and as far as I'm concerned studying for it is a giant waste of time. Go out and learn something. Don't prep for a single test.
