Grindr | Senior/Staff Android Engineer | Chicago, IL | Remote | https://grindr.com https://grindr.com
Come play a key role in building the next generation of the Grindr app! Working on our Android team, you’ll have the opportunity to solve challenging problems, work with the latest technologies, collaborate with a kind and capable team, and contribute to a one-of-a-kind app. The Grindr team is the largest social media app for the LGBTQ community, and we love what we do!
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Android team, Product Managers, and our QA team to build and maintain a fast, reliable, app. We deeply value ownership, empowerment, proactivity, data-driven decisions, and user focus. You’ll be an important voice in our product & software architecture decisions!

- IBCNU 4y agoderp, thank you. https://www.grindr.com https://www.grindr.com
- tehwhale810 4y agoAny idea why you don’t just fix your dns?
- hsbauauvhabzb 4y agoTheir app has rampant spam bots and reproducibly freezes regularly, they have more issues than the dns ;)
- thruway516 4y agoNot to mention ad hijacking and a generally shitty business model
- ulfw 3y agoAgreed. $39.99/month to properly use the service "Unlimited" is beyond ridiculous for what it is.
- hsbauauvhabzb 3y agoI’ve always been very curious about this, I was on a grandfathered 60$/year plan until they arbitrarily banned me (I assume in the hopes of increasing revenue). I would assume $10/month (1/4th the price) “unlimited” would sell 5x as many subs.
