Samsung moon debacle was a thing using AI for upscaling shots

  No it wasn’t. It recognized the moon and replaced the real moon taken by the camera with a stored stock photo pasted over it. There was no “upscaling” involved.

    Well sorry this is what I meant with AI upscaling vs old regular upscaling which doesn't make stuff up. It's like when Ryan Gosling faces started being hallucinated into generated images because of overfitting of his image in the training data set
