What's the battery life going to be for this one?
My biggest issue by far with the Framework 13 is that the battery life is really bad (at least with linux). Less than 2 hours of normal use is not really workable. Will this one do better?
- Qiu_Zhanxuan 4y agoAgreed, the Macbook Pro 16" has a 100wh battery and i'm looking for something that has at least 3/4 of its autonomy, otherwise no point in investing into a >1500$ laptop.
- semireg 4y agoThat was the first thing I did: Ctrl-F "battery" ... "Not Found"
- eolas 4y agoIn either this or another post, they mention that the capacity will be increased to 61Kw battery. Don't know how this will effect things with the new processors though.
- beepbooptheory 4y agoThat seems very very short... With sway/nixos on a framework I'm getting at least twice that. Although I guess "normal use" is a pretty squishy thing.
- appleiigs 4y agoI don't know why it tapers at the bottom, just make them rectangular and put more battery in.
