No one's going to be liable for a paycheck that's late by a few days due to the collapse of the bank through which the paycheck was being wired.
- Scoundreller 4y agoTrick is to be first in the queue, whether that be first in filing for a missed paycheque (because it may not be the last missed), withdrawing funds first from a failing bank, or by regularly processing your payroll before a Friday when everyone else tries to. Not sure why everyone sticks to payroll on Fridays. It’s not the early/mid 1900s where you have to worry about workers going on payday benders.
