- PaulHoule 4y agoAlternately there are professions that women are shuttled into and men practically excluded with serious social consequences. It sounds incredible, but I’ve seen the figure that just 5% of newly licensed clinical psychologists are male which could be harmful to patients who’d feel more free to talk about their problems with another guy. For all the talk and considerable progress in getting women in the pipeline for scarce STEM jobs that face intense competition from immigrants (e.g. Albert Einstein back in the day), there is little effort or progress into getting men into women-dominated MEAN jobs that are rapidly growing and hard to fill.
