Apologies for the meta comment*, but I find it odd that an article with only 55 upvotes is still on the first page after 7 hours. Usually only articles with hundreds (plural) of upvotes survive the front page that long.
Or maybe it’s just a slow news day, and not many are beating it out?
*Not really sure how else to surface something like this, other than maybe AskHN, but not sure it’s worthy of a separate post.

- nerdile 4y agoWhy this story? Why now? Nothing new, no new insight from FT. I assume people just really want to share their opinion about voice assistants and Alexa?
