- scottLobster 4y agoIn a time where half of the US can't afford a $1000 emergency...
- rr808 4y agoYeah, half the country wont be buying new cars. Buying used is normal.
- pixl97 4y agoCurrently used cars are 'that' significantly cheaper than new. Add in things like interest rates on used being higher than new, and that new cars typically have very long warranties on major components and we're suddenly into the 'Boots Theory' of Socioeconomic Unfairness.
- taylodl 4y agoThat moves the monthly cost from $780 to $720. That's still an expensive proposition.
- nradov 4y agoHa ha good luck with that. Dealers don't actually stock the cheap base models, and most are charging additional mark ups due to limited supply and high demand. If you want to actually purchase a Corolla Hybrid today then your total price out the door including taxes and fees will likely be over $34K. There are cheaper new cars available, though. You can get a little penalty box like a Mitsubishi Mirage or Nissan Versa for much less.
