What would kill me the most wouldn't be the lower salary, it would be working at a company that treats tech as an expense to be minimised, where non-technical people are calling the shots, working on 10 year old tech with no plans of upgrading ever.
- eBombzor 4y agoYeah that too. Funny, I'm in that situation right now. Side note, does anyone really enjoy working with Kafka/Kubernetes? I mean the tech sounds cool, but working with these tools...
- charlie0 4y agoThe pendulum can swing too far the other way as well. All I ask for is working with an up to date language and frameworks.
