MH370 likely had systems that enable tracking deliberately disabled by someone in the cockpit (or they all failed at the same time). That's not part of the threat model for good reasons.
- twelve40 4y agoseems quite addressable if that was the case? just don't let humans disable tracking, what's a sane use case for that anyway?

- nradov 4y agoFor safety reasons airliners must have circuit breakers that allow disabling every electrical system in case of a fire, short circuit, or other dangerous malfunction.
