It doesn't matter how much I look at them, and I get the reasoning, but the right->left flow orientation of VCS diagrams will always be disorienting for me.

It doesn't matter how much I look at them, and I get the reasoning, but the right->left flow orientation of VCS diagrams will always be disorienting for me.
- initialcommit 4y agoYou can use the --reverse flag to reverse the direction of the graphs in Git-Sim. However the fact that time flows in the opposite direction of the parent/child relationships, is inevitable based on Git's design.
- mpolichette 4y agoI always have to remind myself that they’re dependency arrows and not a sequence ordering. They make it look like it flows right to left even though time (or at least sequence) flows left to right.
