Just because something can be used in an evil way does not make it untrue and it doesnt make it it inherently wrong to talk about.
In fact, I hear anti white propoganda all the time, part of which is the fact that whites are overrepresented in finance.
The hypocrisy is insane.

- DontchaKnowit 4y agoI never said white people are favcing a prejudice equivalent to Jews. Thats obviously a stupid ass take to have. Im just saying that it doesnt make sense that chatgpt would just refuse to tell the truth in this instance because that truth could be used as propoganda. And the same argument can be applied to its statements about white people but since white people are on easy street according to the political zeitgeist it will cough up facts about them all day long regardless of how those facts paint white people. Which imo is good, a fact is a fact. Just saying the same thing should be true across all races if we want chatgpt to be a legitimately useful tool for anything other than propogandizing.
- freejazz 4y ago>In fact, I hear anti white propoganda all the time, part of which is the fact that whites are overrepresented in finance. You are the one offering white prejudice as if it was some sort of reasonable response to why chatGPT doesn't participate in furthering jewish stereotypes... not me. It was your stupid ass response, not mine. >Im just saying that it doesnt make sense that chatgpt would just refuse to tell the truth in this instance because that truth could be used as propoganda. Your own question answers itself. It's incredibly sensible why chatGPT doesn't answer those questions. It's not that it doesn't make sense. It makes perfect sense. You might not agree with it, but it makes perfect sense. > And the same argument can be applied to its statements about white people but since white people are on easy street according to the political zeitgeist it will cough up facts about them all day long regardless of how those facts paint white people. Lol and again you basically equivocate antisemitism to "white prejudice" just immediately after you insisted you did no such thing! The white prejudice you talk about is completely made up. Maybe that's one reason why chatGPT doesn't answer those questions the same way.
- DontchaKnowit 4y agoIts not made made up firstly. In fact white people are basically the only people you can be openly racist towards without being villified. Now this racism is quite tame all things considered sure, but it exists. Again I did not equivocate anti white racism with anti semetism. But fandamentally they are the same thing : racism. Still dont understand how my question answered itself. Also, youve been completely hostile, rude, and unwilling to grant that my arguments are in good faith. This argument will not be productive because you refuse to be amicable. Have a nice life.
- freejazz 4y agoIt is made up. >Again I did not equivocate anti white racism with anti semetism. But fandamentally they are the same thing : racism. You are because you keep comparing them. One of them is real, one of them is imagined in your head. Are white people being put into camps because they are white? No? Then fuck off with your bullshit. >Also, youve been completely hostile, rude, and unwilling to grant that my arguments are in good faith. This argument will not be productive because you refuse to be amicable. Have a nice life. Sure, it's because they aren't. Your arguments are not based in good faith. I will repeat that so it's clear. > This argument will not be productive because you refuse to be amicable There is no amicability to someone making up the notion that white people are persecuted in any way like jews are and you're a fucking moron for suggesting so.
- DontchaKnowit 4y agoNo one is putting jews in camps. Unless theres some geopolitical antisemetic event going on right now that I am unaware of, youre a fucking loon.
- freejazz 4y agoI’m not a loon, you’re a shitty liar. When have “white people” as you have described, been put in camps because they were “white people”? I never said jews are currently being put in camps. I was clearly referring to World War II. Do me the favor and leave me to the nice life you said you would two posts ago
- nhchris 4y ago> My grandparents on my dad's side met in a camp somewhere near siberia during WWII, while starving and fleeing the Nazis. That's the thing that Jewish people are dealing with. Wow. I sure am glad a different regime at the time didn't kill 20 million* of its own people in its fight against the bourgeoisie, because that would make the accusation that someone is unfairly well-off truly dangerous! Fortunately nothing of the sort happened, and the Jewish people are basically the only ones that suffered persecution, and the ideology that resulted in those hypothetical 20 million deaths is so thoroughly vilified that espousing anything even merely adjacent to it in the US results in ostracism, so there's really no fear of a resurgence. *Not including deaths due to war, famine, or epidemics. And not including China.
- acdha 4y agoThis is a terribly bad faith response: Jewish people today are faced with real threats, buildings being defaced, shootings and bombings, etc. but communism is dead as a political movement. Rich people are afraid of having to pay as much in taxes as the average person does, not real threats to their lives or property.
- freejazz 4y agoI never said jewish people are the only ones that suffered persecution. As a jewish person it's my history and it's teh example I choose, especially because we were talking about... wait for it... anti-semitism.
- nhchris 4y ago> In fact, I hear anti white propoganda all the time, part of which is the fact that whites are overrepresented in finance. > Oh, you do? This whole, "one side said one thing, so me, as a person on the other side, I'm gonna say my version of the thing, and people will have to take it seriously because it's fundamentally the same argument" really misses the point. My grandparents [..] You used your own persecution to dismiss anti-white propaganda. Instead of using it as a lesson on the danger of propaganda targeting identity groups, you're using it as a cudgel, that because Jews had it worse, whites shouldn't complain when targeted by that same kind of propaganda. > we were talking about... wait for it... anti-semitism. No, we were talking about the double standards imposed upon ChatGPT. You want to restrict it to only anti-semitism, because ChatGPT's answers about Jews, in isolation, are defensible. Only when contrasted with the answers given about whites do the hypocrisy and malice become apparent - the same things it and you warned are so dangerous when done to Jews, it gleefully does to whites, and you defend it.
