- wavephorm 15y agoBut it's important to get the order of the buzzwords correct, otherwise investors will know you're bullshitting them. Is Foursquare a location-based social network with real-time context-aware recommendations? Or is Foursquare a cloud-based social recommendations app with location-aware analytics? If they get the order right they might have a chance to get more funding.

- herval 15y agothey have the "specials". speaking of which, has anyone actually successfully redeemed a "special" lately? I got 2 in my last trip to SFO, showed them on the counter and no one there knew what it was/gave me anything... :(
- yalimkgerger 15y agoI got 4 pieces of chicken wings at Hooters in LA once. :-)
- erikus 15y agoI was able to get a couple of specials honored in SF (buy one get one drinks in both cases). Recently I've seem some of the specials requiring an AMEX credit card linked to my foursquare account, which I feel crosses the "worth it" line.
