The difference between a cheap car and an expensive car has gotten drastically smaller in the last 5 years. Look at the features and interior of a modern Civic or Corolla. The software is as good as it gets, the quality of materials and fit an finish are as good as what a BMW or Mercedes was a decade ago. A GR Corolla has 300 HP and tons of torque. Expensive cars just don't make as much of a difference as before.
