It's perfectly possible to run a blog that isn't optimised for social media users or private. The kind of exposure I could get from those sites is also the kind I can do without, I don't think I'm alone in holding that belief either.
- lloydatkinson 4y agoI share when I write a new article but I don't have comments on my site for the reasons you mentioned. Too much negativity from places like Reddit, Twitter, HN is bad enough without having to moderate comments on your own site too.
