- atmosx 4y agoAlthough I share the sentiment, Brussels elites are equally or more buffoons. There are some "pro-Brussels" arguments. For example right now Greece is in the midst of a spying scandal and the only way the judiciary pays attention is to avoid pressure from Brussels. Local journalists try to escalate to European bodies because locally the judiciary bodies are either corrupted or toothless. So, there's at least that.
