- knewter 4y agoI just installed and use bower yesterday and also learned of Mercury yesterday. Bower was quite nice and compiling it in a language I'd never known existed was trivial.
- marcosdumay 4y agoIt also has explicit determinism declarations, that avoid what is IMO the largest Prolog problem, that your program unexpectedly gets some exponential slowdown. Added to that it has an explicit and srtict type system, and much saner numeric arithmetics (mostly because of the strict types). It also has explicit side-effects declarations, so you know if your code is pure or not. I have never used on anything non-trivial. So I don't know how it copes on the real world. But the language looks very nice.
