- chownie 4y agoIt might do, but simply re-running the generation when it says no has a decent chance of getting it to work.
- faitswulff 4y agoWe can’t even have proper arguments about ChatGPT because its answers are nondeterministic.

- feet 4y agoI think your statement only assumes the input to ChatGPT rather than considering the state of the entire system. If we consider the entire state of ChatGPT then it is likely that the answers are deterministic and predictable just like from a human
- taneq 4y agoExactly, it’s like quantum physics, or dice rolls. No point discussing them. ;)
- dekhn 4y agoPresumbly, its answers form a probability distribution, which you can sample by repeatedly asking the same question.
