I'm pretty sure that's a uniquely American thing too. At least I've never seen it in France. But yeah, the bill names get really goofy sometimes.

- liketochill 4y agoThey need to be marketed to the public and lawmakers to get passed and like a cve with a catchy name and brand they get more attention with a good name. Eg 1200 page bill which includes the governments entire platform summed up as inflation reduction act
