It wouldn’t be a threat if we didn’t have an economy that distributed most gains to the very top. If things were more equitable it would mean we will all become much wealthier due to a large productivity increase. I almost never see that raised in these discussions. We have been so conditioned not to think about this subject. We can blame the tech, each other, everything but the system.
