This route avoids Apple having ANY obligation to protect its consumers .. when they choose to use a random website to transact.
This Coinbase issue is about Coinbase using an Apple App Store App to perform a service around digital purchases which ALL Apple consumers can EXPECT a certain set of values upheld BY APPLE INC on their behalf .. sort of protection by Apple when buying anything digital via an App.
- saurik 4y agoHow do you expect them to do that? Store the private key in the browser's local storage and pray it doesn't get evicted?
