The New Wordle Editor Is Ruining Wordle
- jmull 4y agoI noticed FEAST last week. It is a little off-putting. Maybe I’ll come to like it? …I’m thinking I’ll get the wordle in one guess next Valentine’s
- cwillu 4y ago“break”?
- nunez 4y agoYeah, wordle was done for after NYTimes acquired it. I immediately started looking for other stuff. Great haul for the Reddit dev that made it. Wafflegame is awesome; the deluxe waffle will have you busy for a bit: https://wafflegame.net https://wafflegame.net Quordle is Wordle++, no jokes: https://quordle.com https://quordle.com

- radec 4y agoWhat is this?
- moloch-hai 4y agoAn exact copy of the original wordle.
- joenot443 4y agoThat writing was hard to get through. Is Slate always written in this style? It reads like a teen magazine
- LinkLink 4y agoWordle, like many things, was acquired not because of any actual utility or value add to the company which bought it, but bought and killed slowly to comply with anti-trust laws, and to prevent anyone outside the big club from getting an atom of public power.
- benj111 4y agoIm slightly confused by this. I don't remember getting feast, but then I'm not American so wouldn't have picked up on it. But then I've noticed USian spellings of other words which would suggest I'm not getting a UK specific version Spoiler: Today a got a word about what fat thighs do.
- dwallin 4y agoI think it's actually a smart move. Your first guess in Worldle has traditionally been one made with 0 information, and therefore people tend to pick a word and just use it every day. By making this change it encourages people to mix it up a bit, and maybe try words they otherwise wouldn't.
