- throwntoday 4y agoHave to say as much as I want to watch their streams, I can't get passed the annoying voice.
- psychphysic 4y agoI had a quick look and the streams it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Not in a good way. The write up wasn't so bad but the entire package is too much for me.
- ddoolin 4y agoI went and checked out the YouTube video attached to one of the tweets. Just...wow. I see what you mean.
- mlindner 4y agoI've said the same but I got flagged on hacker news for saying it. I'm not quite sure why it's an objectionable thing to say.
- renox 4y agoBah I've watched some of Jon Blow's vidéos on Jay, even though he's much more pleasant to watch on video, it's still annoying: a normal blog would be so much more 'efficient'.
- Philip-J-Fry 4y agoThis shouldn't be controversial to say, but it's blatantly obvious that it's a voice changer.

- IshKebab 4y agoDuh. Doesn't mean it's not annoying af.
- westmeal 4y agoYeah it's way too high pitched. They must have a pretty deep voice.
- 91edec 4y agoMy headcannon is that Asahi Lina is actually Marcan since they both have a Spanish accent/twang.
- Phelinofist 4y agoAt least in the videos I watched I found the speech pattern (like the talking speed) to match marcans, if you e.g. compare it to his presentation with fail0verflow at C3 for the PS3 hack or some of his streams. But that is also speculation ofc.

- hallarempt 4y agoFair enough. I cannot get past your typo.
- ge96 4y agoYeah... I was hoping to passively watch it, maybe gleam something but yeah. The other thing too, watching other people code is kind of not fun like George or Rene. More fun to see some screeching video with no actual info just the end result of a robot pissing in a cup. Also goes to show how much work goes into writing code/having some end result. Maybe it will get more exposure since there is a growing trend for vtuber stuff.
- throwntoday 4y agoYou don't like watching George? His coding streams always get me hyped enough to work on my own projects.
- ge96 4y agoThe stuff he works on and OP above is beyond my current level/field. I wouldn't really watch it to follow along rather just for the company/background noise. Maybe learning something in the process. Currently I don't watch anyone regularly for code. I get it though, I used to watch Social Network or Silicon Valley to hype myself up to pursue something. Now my problem is too many projects ha.
- ge96 4y agoI still am trying to figure out my own business though. I'm getting tired of writing code/constant upkeep. Soon there will be a library just to make a button with its own context manager.
