I recently finished an article[1] on my home computer experience and have been thinking about getting back into the Amiga scene. Looks like a lot has changed over the years. Where is a good place to start If I was thinking about getting an Amiga?

- snvzz 4y agoA500 and A1200 are the go-tos. The former is cheap and can run most games outright, as most games targeted the original chipset and the A500 specifically. Also true for software, particularly with a memory expansion, and loading a newer kickstart rom into ram (through mkick) The latter is less cheap, but has the AGA chipset. With the help of whdload, almost every game works and can be loaded from the hard disk.
