They were audited, but by an unknown auditing firm called "Prager Metis" who bragged about being the first auditing firm with a metaverse headquarters
They were likely corrupt and paid off by FTX to not audit properly
- smcl 4y agoI don't know if we need to assume corruption here. It's probably more likely they didn't fully understand what they were doing, had a few spreadsheets waved in front of them and didn't really look into any of it particularly closely.
