Did you ever consider mulching them directly into the ground beneath them? Good for the soil and helps the grass as well. And it's nearly free. My neighbors spent the last week chasing leaves with bags and paying for pickup. I sent the kid out with a mower for an hour and my yard looks nearly the same.
