Operating systems, especially kernel.
- ndesaulniers 4y ago+1 vote for the Linux kernel!
- mdaverde 4y agoBonus points because it's C99
- Firmwarrior 4y agoyeah, this is OP's endgame.. the only c jobs that pay big FAANG bucks are: - Apple - Microsoft - Google (linux kernel) - Amazon (they have some embedded teams) - Facebook (some Android teams) - Tesla - Uber I think most of those companies require relevant experience before they'll look at someone's resume, though..
- Jcampuzano2 4y agoCurious, what would Uber be using C for in the first place? Doesn't seem like any of their use cases would really require it nor would it be the first choice?
- Firmwarrior 4y agoI'm just guessing based on the self-driving research, could be wrong there
