Out of curiosity, are you a C/C++ dev?
- pencilguin 4y agoThere is no C/C++ language. There are no C/C++ devs. So, no. There are some who develop in both C and C++, along with any other language you can think of. I do not encounter the expression "C++/Rust dev", although it is extremely common for those programmers who do Rust at all to do both.
- Arch-TK 4y agoWhat are you on about? C/C++ was first standardized in the fractional year 1989/1998 in the (ANSI X3.159-1989)/(ISO/IEC 14882:1998) standard.
- samatman 4y agoIf I may interject? What you are calling C++ is actually C/C++, or as I've recently taken to calling it, C+C++.
- pencilguin 4y agoYou may call something that does not exist anything you like except the name of a thing that does exist. Anything that you say about a thing that does not exist is vacuous. It is objective fact that all female former US presidents can fly by flapping their wings.
- still_grokking 4y agoInteresting. Does this explain UFOs?
- pencilguin 4y agoIt is objective fact that some flying objects have not been identified by all observers, and that some objects presumed flying are, in fact, not.
