If you think the value is > 0, you (or someone) should be able to estimate what that number is. Because the number should be based on... something. Otherwise, = 0 seems correct.
- 650 4y agoWhat's the value of a brick? https://stockx.com/supreme-clay-brick-red https://stockx.com/supreme-clay-brick-red Both art and grifts have changing value > 0.
- thunky 4y agoAbout $0.82 https://www.lowes.com/pd/8-in-x-4-in-Clay-Red-Cored-Standard-Brick/5013595093 https://www.lowes.com/pd/8-in-x-4-in-Clay-Red-Cored-Standard...
- endofreach 4y agoIt really depends on where you are located, what you need the brick for and what your alternatives are (as with everything).
- timeon 4y agoYes but most of the time deviation is not that big. I've checked prices where I live and also it varies it similar to $0.82 (but we do not us $ and it is not exactly same brick).
- iamthirsty 4y agoHey, if you want to really get into it, a brick is made of physical materials that took time and a process to form into a brick, and has practical as well as decorative uses. Bitcoin doesn't have a single one of those.
- sunshinerag 4y agoBecause it’s not a brick . It’s not made of physical materials. But it took time and purpose. It has practical uses. Not sure about decorative one.
- ianhvr 4y agoHate to blow up your logic but Bitcoin is made up of 100k+ lines of code that took time and a process to form into a blockchain, and has several practical uses.
- thunky 4y agoI've personally written thousands of lines of code that does (or did) something yet is currently worthless.
- ianhvr 4y agoyes, proving my point. your worthless code does not have millions of users and developers building on top of your platform.
- thunky 4y agoEven if it did it would still be worthless. Value isn't created by destroying time and energy.
- ianhvr 4y agocan you show me a product with roughly 200 million users and 200k daily transactions that has a value of $0 to back up your logic?
- thunky 4y agoYes: NFTs Less than a year ago NFTs had about as many daily transactions. Since then volume is down 97%+ and prices have collapsed, well on their way to the correct value of $0. IMO bitcoin will go the same way. The market is just more entrenched in bitcoin mania so it's happening more slowly.
