You can generate a web URL now once the call has started and send it to PC/Android users. It’s far from a first class solution, of course.
- n0tth3dro1ds 4y agoI’m still shocked that they added this. It actually made the UX worse for people that only typically talk to other iPhone users. The entire existence of non-ephemeral call links / lobbies is confusing if you never have to share them and are just trying to call an iPhone user directly. And it’s such a prominent part of the new FaceTime UI instead of something that they could’ve hid in an options menu.
