Also, "trope of programmers being low IQ"?

- satysin 4y agoI think OP may mean: trope of programmers having low social IQ (aka EQ)? There is certainly a stereotype (reinforced by the media of course) of programmers being awkward, geeky, poor communicators to non-experts, emotionally a bit “weird”, etc As OP is talking about charisma this is what I assume they meant anyway. I could wrong so hopefully OP can clarify.
